内容摘要：The talk concerns a class of self-similar solutions to the Ricci flows, the gradient shrinking Ricci solitons. After some background and motivation, we plan to first explain the classification for two  and three dimension case, then move on to recent joint work with Ovidiu Munteanu on the geometry of  four dimensional solitons.
