报告摘要:For many nonlinear models that are thermodynamical-consistent, the main numerical challenge is to develop efficient and effective time discretization schemes while preserving the energy stability. We introduce a novel, so called Invariant Energy Quadratization approach, that can possess many desired properties. More precisely, the schemes (i) are accurate (up to second order in time); (ii) are stable (unconditional energy dissipation law holds); and (iii) are efficient and easy to implement (only need to solve a symmetric positive definite linear equation).
